what are the differences in ratios between the quicksilver box and the gti box? thanks very much!

best check that code, doesn't sound like a sport box and a fair bit longer than a gti box (sounds like VTR box, would do 158mph at 7k, if it had the grunt to pull it!)

106 gti has longer ratio with stronger diff 1.4 has shorter and weaker internals but shouldent be a real problem unless your wheel spining all the time.. a lot of people use 1.3 rallye box but they are coming harder to get so next step is 1.4 or 1.1 quick 0-60 times but slower top speed.. hope that helps buddy or try 106owners... or 106rallye forums loads of advice you may want
