Miles 331 1 Cars Posted March 11, 2010 It's worth checking that all the bolts and 'L'/quadrant arm are tight and not wobbling around, The other point is the Ball mounted on the front subframe which is held on with a 13mm Nyloc, The bush;s in the 'L'/quadrant arm can be either std from pug for a few quid or the Upgraded bush which I and BBM sell, If these are all OK then it's down to the Gear-rods being worn (Another common failing) or badly adjusted, Get someone in the car to hold the Gearstick in the middle and adjust the rods to fit the box balls. alphacharlie 0 Posted March 11, 2010 I had this the other week as the passenger seat was stopped me engaging 2nd gear!!! Having ordered the quadrant bush from Miles I did a little more invest while I waited for delivery and found the pivot on the subframe (as Miles says above) was loose as. Picked up a new M10/13mm nyloc and all is now sweet Hopefully it will be a simple fix for you. Cheers AC
