Exhaust Rubber Mounts

Recommended Posts

205Rallee

I'm looking to replace the 20 year old rubber hanging thingies for the exhaust on a 205 Euro rallye, same exhaust system as a 1.6 gti.

Should I replace with original rubbers? If so any ideas on dimensions or part numbers? Or are there polyflex or other ones which are better?

Thanks.

I fitted poly mount to my exhaust, it made a big difference over the standard mounts as on track the exhaust had a tendancy to slip off one of the rear mounts. It's now nice and secure.

Cheers guys, any ideas on which poly ones I need and how many there are? Two at the rear silencer and one in the middle somewhere?

Demon Tweeks, cat page 300 power flex. There are drawings of shapes and sizes and they are very good, i use them on my rally car and have had no problems.
