Re-welding New Door Hinges To Door Pilar

Hello, has anybody had any experience on replacing the complete door hinges that are welded to the door pilar, would removing the wing & rewelding new door hinges be a big no no. Concerned on heat generated behind door pilar, is there anything behind there i should know about..............

i did it, and it was well worth it :rolleyes:

 

wings do have to be removed

Concerned on heat generated behind door pilar, is there anything behind there i should know about

 

ECU on drivers side and fuse box on passenger side.
