What Are The Thinnest Steelies Available

Recommended Posts

Batfink

I'm scrapping my BMW this weekend and will be getting a 106 van in April from my brother. Now as I am trying to save a bit of money I want to run thin tyres as they are more aerodynamic. I know its petty but every little bit helps. All i do is trundle down a duel carriageway for 50 miles a day at 60mph

I'm guessing you cannot get normal tyres for space savers so whats the next thinnest in the PSA range. 205 1.0??

it'll probably be rolling on the thinnest ones already at 5" wide 13"s :)

My old 1.0 Trio Plus used to have 135/80/13, skinny as a cycle tyre!

I see, so it is 4 stud then, pretty much any base model 106 on 13"s will have 5 or 5.5" wide wheels.

my twisted logic would be to get some decent 185 55's and use the extra width to carry speed and not use the accelerator as much :(
