My 309 Is Finally On The Road

Just want to say sorry to Coskev in advance,i had already planned what i wanted to do before i saw his

 

 

 

 

 

 

My friend drove it back from Wales when i first bought it so it was my first drive yesterday and it drove pretty well actually,i thought i would not find it as fun as the trusty 205 but i quite liked it,i guess its because im getting older .

I havnt got many pics when i first got it,those pics were after a quick clean,i didnt want to take any of under the bonnet because it looked very chavvy .

it was pretty straight,it had the original silver wheels and some very dodgy red painted bits under the bonnet. Since having it i have fitted Goodwood wheels,clear side repeaters,gave it a good t-cut and polish,the slam panel and cam belt covers have gone from red to black,iv replaced the boot badges becuase the ones on it were red,the rocker cover has gone from red to polished,im going to get the strut brace powder coated gloss black.

 

Its got a standard engine apart from the usual K&N and full stainless exhaust which were already on it.

Its only done 72k,which compared to my 150k 205 its not even run in yet.

Only thing i have noticed since having it on the road is that the heated rear screen doesnt work,the switch lights up but no heat from the screen,i havnt even looked at it yet so im guessing its probably one of the wires broken off the screen or something?

 

Its attracted quite a bit of attention at work today,a couple of people at work were reliving there youth because they had one aswell,and someone even didnt know what it was
