Rally Car Arches Build

Hello all,

 

Im thinking of developing some new arches for the 205 for rally and road cars to make it wider.

 

They will be similar to the ecosse antares, but more bubbly and wider.

 

The width will be similar to the front arches on this car:

 

 

The rear arches will be the same width as the front.

 

Im thinking of bringing the arches round to the bottom of the bumpers instead of stoping on the top part?

if you make them down to the bumpers it might be a idea to make them in seprate parts,so if you need to take the valance/bumper off you dont need to take the arch off.

yeah good idea, i'd probably do it similar to the way my mercedes arches are split

maybe a separate extension part on the bottom would be better, like the Gutmann kits shown on the mighty turbo skip;

These are the Gutmann Racing Look 2 ones which should come all the way down to the sill at the back

 

The Racing Look 1 Kit was split with a part that bolts onto the standard front valance

yeah similar principle to that, but more bubbly arches.

 

Also i dont want it to wrap around the bumper lower.

I know its an old topic, but where did you source those arches from and did you develope the ones mentioned
