did a bit of playing with the saxo today as the 205 is up at my mates garage and hes doing all the head gasket on it for me :)

anyway heres how the sackofs*itxo is standing currently

IMG_0933.jpg

and its all good apart from some random tart graffiting my car in the dirt

haha love you really saucey

IMG_0934-1.jpg

few mini bits i didnt get pics of the engine loom is off so literally now to get it out its driveshafts out unbolt the mounts and pull out the 16v up front but im not going to do that in the street ill wait till i have the car up the side of my house like

and the front brakes have been removed to stop them rusting to death like

anyway main reason the car is up on stands is following in the pics

how the day started

IMG_0935-1.jpg

few minutes some swearing and a knuncle getting removed

IMG_0937-1.jpg

IMG_0936-1.jpg

brakes and stuff stripped off

IMG_0938-1.jpg

and heres why its all been stripped

new beam (not that the old one was nakered lol) with polyrace bushes in off a 106 gti

IMG_0939-1.jpg

and all the brakes on the new beam which ill probably with even more swearing fit tomorrow

IMG_0940.jpg

IMG_0941.jpg

ive not fitted the one dust cover as theres a snapped bolt in the beam so im going to just take the other off

they dont really do much anyway lol

IMG_0955-3.jpg

and the overheating issues continue lol!

no matter how many new cooling system parts i fit it finds a way to kill itself

my rad i had fitted about 3 weeks ago has deformed at the top meaning the rad cap doesnt fit snugly so it pissed a load of coolant out whilst i was driving and then all of a sudden the stat opened it just emptied the rad and over heated

im going to try and blag a free radiator as this one is about 3 weeks old

ive also picked up this (for free  )

IMG_0952.jpg

1587cc 16v tu5j4 bottom end

going to pocket the pistons and use it with my xsi/rallye head and dellortos

so now i can build the motor up and then just drop it in when im done and im not messing splitting engines in the car

however yesterday the little 205 had a paddy at me yet again

IMG_1001.jpg

the part at fault was the dizzy

IMG_1003.jpg

IMG_1004.jpg
