I had just Mot'd my car then the acciedent happend, it invalidates it im afriad.

 

I have to get an MOT (agian) then go to the VOSA VIC check then tax it.

 

And I've still got my log book........insurers did not ask for it?!

 

 

Strange they usually ask that you send the log book to them; did in my case...

 

Have read on other forums that sometimes the VIC marker is not set by the insuranace company (by error or lazyness) - may be worth checking whether the DVLA have it marked down as a write off.

 

The MOT prior to an accident is definately invalidated, but I had mine MOT'd after the accident which I think is what Leet205 was refering to.

The marker was set on the same day I was told it was Cat C
