1.9 306 Td Into 205

Iv dropped the engine in the 205 got more or less everything dun apart from the clutch cable, do u use the 306 cable or do u use the 205 cable in which case is it correct that u have to use the 205 clutch?

Any help appreciated

What gearbox do you have and what phase 205?

Its the BE3 gearbox and the van is on an 'H'

But the 205 cable operates the clutch arm the opposite way that it needs to go??

welshpug

easiest thing to do is to use the 205's push type cable, release arm+shaft and clutch.

 

or modify the clutch cable to fit.

Few big size spacers, nuts and it will work.

 

At least it was temporary for about 9 months for me.
