106 16v Engine In 205 Rallye

Recommended Posts

Spiky

been asked if i can supply a rev counter loom

but i'm not really clued up on the 106 engine.

it uses a twin coil system?

i have seem pics on google and notice it has a 4 pin plug.

and just wondering how it would get wired up?

NOT EXACT pin outputs, but just guessing

pin 1 Live

pin 2 earth feed from ecu for coil 1 + 3

pin 3 earth feed from ecu for coil 2 + 4

pin 4 unsue

anyone able to help?

from Autodata -

ECU pin 55 for cylinder 1 and 4, Pin 1 of coil plug, wire 110.

ECU pin 37 for cylinder 2 and 3, Pin 2 of coil plug, wire 111.

live to pin 3 from relay pin 13 wire number 1226.

Pin 4 of coil is connected to a suppressor that's bolted to the head.

same as a gti6 but only 2 outputs from the ecu to connect to basically, as its a wasted spark principle :)

Sandy

Wire 426-429 is the Tacho feed from the ECU. It works with the 205 Rallye Tacho, but the 205 Rallye Tacho is really crap.
