allye 530 3 Cars Posted November 13, 2009 Hi all, A while ago I put some new decals on my Rallye, however one of the doors has been sprayed at one point in its life . This was done around the decals so when I took off the originals there was a ridge of paint around edge of the decals. My new new 'Rallye' decals are slightly different size so wont simply go into the ridge outline. How should I deal with it? One guys suggested sanding it down with really fine wet and dry then t-cutting it, but I'm not so sure! Thanks a lot, Ali Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
GeorgeXS 32 Posted November 13, 2009 If the new decals are slightly too small then i can see the problem, but if they are too big can you not cut them down to fit the ridgelines?? Thanks, Ali Were they from AJ Decals? Always wondered about these... Are they the Rallye 'Script' decals then? And not the stripes? If so, the most accurate way of tracing them would be to do a rubbing, if possible. Scan this in at the correct size and forward me the image. I can then trace this and cut the decal from it.
