Unknown Warning Light (+)

The descripted light is simply the ECU´s "check engine"-light... Why Peugeot decided to use the Cat´s overheat-light... nowbody really knows...

 

This light appears on magneti-marelli ecu´s evertime you turn on the ignition... and goes dark after 3 or 4 seconds...

 

Further it appears when serious malfunctions appear in the engines functions....

 

I think it´s a good idea to read out the errors from the ecu... Should be possible with a normal lamp...
