Mi16 Ecu Locked?

Hi all now prob a stupid question but could a 3row mi16 ecu be locked does anyone know?

None of the 1.9 Mi16 ECU's had inbuilt immobilisers, and thus can't be "locked"

 

2.0 Mi16/S16 ECU's on the other hand can be, as all but the earliest cars had immobilisers.
