306 Front Seat Subframes Into 205

I have a set of 306 sxi front seats that I was thinkin of fitting into my phase 1 205 gti until such times as I have the time to refurb my originals,(bolsters are extremely shot),has anyone attemtped to put 306 subframes into a 205 before? If so are they a straight fit or require modifying?

They're quite a bit wider so won't fit directly. Have a search as quite a few members have fitted 405 or Xantia XM leather seats which also have wider frames.

looks like am gony have to set aside a day or two to make them fit,I've got a spare set of 205 subframes a think I'll try and fit to the 306 seats,think that might be the the best option according to previous posters experiences!

Yup, best way of doing it, this is what i did when fitting xm seats.
