Oem Dealer Decals For Rear Screen

Hi folks,

do any of you have any pictures you could upload of any original dealer decals for the rear screen etc, this is to get a feel for their design to try to get an original image to send to a eBay logo type company who can make them up if a good image is supplied.

My '90 1.9 nonsunroof alpine white in non modified condition even still has original tax disc holder and rear dealer logo'd number plate !

Was rather hoping for ones from in periodd ie 1990 not 2009 ...

Original dealer not in business you see otherwise would have contacted them was hoping to see if anyone had one still on their car

Do you have the original dealer details? I'd be happy to have a go a mocking up a design. Can also produce them as a single colour decals, as I have a vinyl cutter printer.

Dealer defo gone into admin so lateral thinking took place - I called the Aberdeen Express local newspaper to see if they can find an advert in period from 1990 for ads from the Peugeot main dealer ( on eBay there is an ad at moment for a Manchester dealership which could be used as a mock up for a repro one to be tried...

I regrettably tore my dealer sticker from my rear screen without taking a photograph first (i ripped it off as it was knackered) I had intented to replicate it.

 

I have a massive digital printer at work that should do these easy but we'd need a high quality image to work from. I'd just print it straight onto transparent vinyl. Happy to have a go if someone provided me with a top quality image.

Just had a call from the Aberdeen local newspaper where a lady has kindly looked in the archives for Setember 1990 for advert relating to Peugeot dealers and was able to find one for my 'Morrison Brothers' which is my cars supplying dealer - and has got some printed off and going in the post tomorrow.

We will hopefully see if we can work with them to sort out one of these rear screen dealer stickers for my 'wee' car.

 

Get those laser type printers warmed up ( or whatever you do with them !)

i've been restoring a 309 gti and it still has the original plates, and i have all paperwork from new

 

i could do with getting the original dealer sticker for my car. it was bought on the wirral in 1988

 

would be good to get as close to original but with updated materials

i'll have to have a proper look through the paperwork

Just had the photocopies of sections of the Aberdeen local newspaper delivered this morning after been searched for in the archives from September 1990 .

Quite good copy of an advert showing the pug lion on L ,dealer logo in middle and the phone number on R.

Will try and load up an image - may take a while due to computer illiteracy even with Photobucket .

 

Keep watching this space I may need your help ...

not my line of work at all so amazed you can do that from a scan of a 19 yr old newspaper ...

Looks v good though.

Prob best as peugeot 'royal' blue dond't you think ?

i've added the link to the original tax disc holder too if you can get that to show.

Our old dealership used to have the old peugeot lion and the T from talbot beside it and was red blue and yellow with the dealership name beside it. I have the original logo off the parts bench from the 80/90's. I must get a picture up of it. It might be useful for someone looking to make a back window sticker. I know im going to get half a dozen made up with a local guy that used to do them for us.
