Batfink 201 Posted September 17, 2009 I have a nice rattle can of paint ready to spray parts of the car. I dont know what colour primer to use though. Does it even matter? Where the paint is thin in the enginebay the primer seems to be a cream colour but most primer is a grey.... any advice? Kev
28CRAIG 2 Posted September 17, 2009 I have seen white on ltd edition's and cream on phase two, so i would go for white if you cant get the cream.
BackStreetRacecars 3 Posted September 17, 2009 when I painted my sorrento we primed it grey then did a base coat of a kind of khaki green colour then applied the sorrento.... Not sure about any of it I was just doing the graft...
stutto 0 Posted September 18, 2009 I touched up a spot on mine from a rattle can, using grey primer, and it is still slightly lighter than the rest of the car. Paint came from Paints4u.com. Previous owner had given the car a blow over, though, so I am not sure that my car is exactly sorrento anyway.....
