Driveshaft Leak

Recommended Posts

burr_2000

Hey Folks, i am having another problem in my 205 with my driveshaft this time the long one. i was stopped from a event because i was leaving drops of gearbox oil on the track. i have a 106 rallye gearbox in it and i have changed the end of the short driveshaft (the inner bit that goes into gearbox with original rallye/xsi) but i never thought i would have problems with the long shaft, to be honest i never did with my old engine (xs with XSI internals). i have fitted a new engine basically a quiksilver engine but keep thinking to myself it cant be this :( . so far i have changed the gearbox driveshaft seal and still no luck, it only leaks under pressure. i am stumped, even had a look at the differences between the mounts, and was looking for wear on the collet pin things that stop shaft from popping out. any ideas please, :)
