There wasn't an XUD9 205 as far as I'm aware, XUD7, 1767cc (IIRC)

Quote from Wikipedia if you tyore in 205

The diesel models employed the XUD PSA Diesel engine, lifted from the Citroën BX which was introduced in 1982. These XUD engines has a capacity of 1769 cc (XUD7) and 1905 cc (XUD9)

I'm always willing to be educated - but the XUD9 was in the 405 - I've never heard of one in the 205 from the factory.

I'll watch with interest....

Servicebox lists the XUD9 as a 205 engine.

Has that got the FMIC? Would you be needing that and the inlet manifold? I'd be interested if you don't want them.

I believe it's the same engine, however someone told me they had to change bellhousing.

So let us know if it fit on the 205 gearbox.

Thanx

The bellhousing change is only needed if you fit the later 1.9 diesel, called the DW8.
