V6 Conversion Question..

im guessing hydraulic clutch - any idea how it disassembles though? no obvious unions or connections on it engine bay side :lol:

 

or does anyone have a link to 406 autodata? haynes dont seem to do a book for the 3l V6 ;)

yup, hydraulic clutch, I think some of the systems fitted come off in one complete assembly.

 

that side of the V6 assembly (gearbox, driveshafts clutch etc) isn't limited to the V6, many HDi's use it I believe.

 

 

Autodata won't tell you how to remove it...

yes its one complete sealed unit, clip on the bulkhead, pop off ball joint on pedal, unclip from gearbox.

Push and twist will undo it Kate same on the bulk head, but you'll have to unclip it from the pedal as well, mine was a sealed system, best to leave it sealed if your going to re use it.

you don't need the angle grinder at all till you sort the subframe!

 

Paul has a lot more info recorded from his wiring loom, I have a lot in my head ;)
