Right ive been searching for the last 20mins and i want to go to bed so ive given up and posted! ;)

Ive got a set of GTi6 rear shockers i bought off a forum member as VGC, i can compress them by hand and they dont seem to expand

Are they knackered?? I just want to check before i jump in with both feet and make a fool of myself

In my experience, oil dampers (like OE Peugeot dampers) generally don't expand by themselves. Gas dampers on the other hand do.
