I think you'll need either base model hubs or 1.9 hubs. *Prepares to be corrected* to allow for the offset.

What for? Calipers won't fit over the 1.9 discs with 1.6 hubs. What exactly is it you want to do?

1.9 calipers and discs basicly, i was wondering if you needed to change hubs? basicly i had a 205 gti gentry and now its a 1.9 gti manual with a 1.6 box.

you can either use base model hubs and retain your driveshafts (assuming they are 1.6 hubs and shafts) or fit 1.9 driveshafts and hubs.

I would just run some uprated pards and good fluid though, 1.6 brakes are good enough for the low compression gentry engine.

Answering your question, yes you can use 1.9 calipers, but retain the 1.6 discs for the correct hub offset.
