Does the TPS of the Mi16 is direct to the throttle body of the GTi6?

 

Nope, you have to make a bracket.

 

I've managed to graft the GTi6 manifold and TB on to my 1.9 Mi16, and it certainly feels more eager. Different engine note too. Bit of a twat to do though, you have to blank the other holes on the GTi6 TB, source a TB to AFM pipe that will also allow you to fit the ICV too. And then, you have to figure the breather pipe routing and the stat to rad pipe (the TB to AFM pipe gets in the way of the standard Mi16 item).

 

I only fitted it because the Mi16 TB had worn spindles, and every 2nd hand TB sourced were not much better! Fed up of s*ite idles and problematic MOT emission checks. Spot on now
