Driveshaft Problem Helpy!

Right i have a 205 gti auto...i put a 1.9 gti engine with a 1.6 box in it, i was told i could only fit 1.6 driveshafts in it, but the ones taken out of my 205 are 1.8 turbo diesel driveshafts because the 1.6 gti driveshafts wont fit in the auto box at the time :S....so what drive shafts may i need? will the inner diesel shaft fit though the 1.6 box?...im sooo confuzed lol.

Basically you need to find out what hubs you have. the inner splines are the same because of the be1/3 boxes. the 1.9 and 1.6 shafts are different due to the number of splines and the circumference of the outer (hub) end of the shaft. I THINK that they are 1.6 hubs on an auto!
