Rear Disc Brake Slider Pins

Recommended Posts

Super Josh

I sometimes get a clonk from my rear disc brakes when moving off. So I assume that my rear slider pins must be worn?

Anyone know where to get them from? Or is it main stealer only :)

Cheers,

Josh

check that the slider bolts are actually clamping the sliders properly, I had an issue where a build-up of corrosion in the threads mean that the bolt would go very tight but not actually secure the caliper fully, I sent a tap through all the holes which are fully threaded, and cleaned the bolt threads, this solved the problem :)

That sounds like a cheaper and easier option, time to get the tap and die set out, cheers :D
