Rear beam, rear dampers, mouse?

Mind you , if its when you are 'braking' it could be a number of things. :)

i had a similar problem spent ages looking for it. always on breaking and slow speeds when hit any bump in the road

turned out to be the spare wheel had come a little loose and was moving about in the carrier

seems stupid but drove me nuts for days till i found that

worth a check as an easy fix

Stop car. Open boot. Push up and down on boot lip.

You should be able to work out where it's coming from if it's suspension related.

Mine had similar symptoms which turned out to be knackered trailing arm shafts, bearings and beam tube.
