Base modles that don't have a centre console have a plastic cover to cover all that wiring and the heater matrix.

Well i'm keeping the heater in it so i'd like to keep the standard switches and knobs really.

When I change the engine i'll sort out the wiring, redo the fuse box and remove the passenger side of the dash.

Thanks adam, i take it you took the dash out to do that. How do you secure the fusebox in place now?

Left the main part of the dash in, just took the bottom half off, cut it and screwed the top back on! I also cut the little bit that holds the fusebox off and screwed it back on, and cable tied the rear ball bit up!
