Gti16 And Gti6 Manifold Differences

Recommended Posts

BackStreetRacecars

I've noticed before that the gti16 exhaust manifold on the standard euro 309 gti16 is rather similar in design to the Gti6 manifold supplied with the 306 gti6? What are the differences.....?? well except the bolt spacing....

I'm sure black_mi16 posted up a few pictures and the details of what's different in his project thread, the runners are a different length and diameter, as well as a different diameter join to the downpipe :)

Yes, for example runner inner diameter 38mm vs. 36mm (if i remember correctly) on the GTi6.

Collector on Gti16 is 2.25" though, I modified mine to 2.5".

Engine putting out huge amounts of power.
