Discoal 0 Posted March 20, 2009 hey, im looking in too convert my standard 205 brakes too gti6 ones, disc and calappiers. Any one have any tips on how too do it or what the best parts to use? been told about fitting a spacer kit but not sure if that will be safe or not? cheers too anyone that can help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Tom Fenton 1,526 Posted March 20, 2009 If you have a 1.9 car to start with, the discs and calipers will bolt straight on. You may need a longer flexi hose, and ideally a different master cylinder, but that is it. Have you tried a search as there is lots of info on this forum to help you. platty 1 Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) You'll need some longer brake lines, obviously disc's, calipers, and pads. Caliper bolts from a 1.9, and ideally a 406 non ABS master cylinder to reduce pedal travel. Pitcrew member Miles can supply you with the brake lines. Edit: Ah, Tom beat me to it.
