EdCherry 34 1 Cars Posted March 17, 2009 http://www.matweb.com/ Cant help you with a specific number/name as havn't looked in to it myself, you really need to work out the stress its going through/forces acting upon it to make it nice and safe.
Rippthrough 98 Posted March 17, 2009 (edited) Depends entirely upon the size and shape of the mount, you need to know the stresses and work back to the most appropriate match from there, you'll prbably find 6082 T6 will be fine if you've got the room for enough thickness and a fairly stubby mount, and chamfered edges to knock stress risers down a bit. But, it's holding your brakes on at the end of the day...you need to work it out. Edited March 17, 2009 by Rippthrough
