Oil Leak Culprit

ok , i will be doing the gti6 conversion, but before i put the lump in , i want it clean and grease/oil free. I made a start yesterday, but toook a couple of pics to see if any of you lot have any idea where this could of come from.

So far to clean the area ive started with some cheap ass oven cleaner, now moving onto gunk degreaser.

hard to say without seeing the block with the starter motor and inlet out of the way.

right well at some point soon i will remove the inlet and starter etc, and begin getting the block clean, hope i remmber where all the damn breathers etc to come :rolleyes:

there's only two breathers on the gti6 engine, really easy.

looks like the oil is coming out the pressure switch, fit a new washer before you put everything back on

thats the other oil pressure switch i told you about :)

 

mine leaks from there too :o will sort before i put mine back together :o

 

take the sendor out, go to a motor factors and get a washer the same :D
