3/16 OD pipe, you want 10x1 fittings, very similar to the 3/8UNF ones available but not the same so be careful, I "think" you will need 12 off male fittings to do a 1600, this includes the short pipes from the rear flexis to the wheel cylinders, but doesn't include one of the ones for the compensator v/v as one side of this I seem to remember is a different size union, you will need to re-use this.

Any local motor factor, I got 25 feet of pipe and 8 10x1mm ends for £10.50 a few weeks ago and borrowed my mate's flaring kit.

Brake compensators IIRC are 12mm one end 10mm the other, had to get a new end as one of mine was well and truly seized into the compensator (Scrapping the compensator too!)

Ryan

The 1.6 compensator is 10mm both ends.

Can you confirm the size of the two ports on the compensator?

M10?M12?....??

Sorry, I think Ryan is right, I was reffering to the 1.9/309/zx/306 type with one in each line due to the diagonally split systems.

Easy enough to check, 10x1 unions are 11mm heads, 12mm unions have a 13mm head.
