Girling Caliper Question

Im rebuilding some 1.9 Girling calipers, they were taken apart (not by me) and shot blasted. They are now painted and rebuilt but I have a question.

 

Each caliper has 2 different slides. 1 slide has a hex head and one a half round. One of the two has a rubber sheath on it and the other doesnt (I forget which is which now)

 

Anyway although these different slides fit in both holes in the caliper, im sure thesers a propper order. Can you tell me what slide goes where?

also are the pad carriers sided?
