I think they relate to letters used in the haynes manual for the fusebox connections. Not 100% as I'm at work and don't have one with me but I remember thinking the same with the letters quoted in the Haynes. If they match then that really is a helpful diagram!

Bit of a blast from the past here...

I am struggling with the resolution of the wiring diagrams, and after letting my last 205 go cleared out my Haynes as well :(

I am trying to slip down my wiring following an engine conversion, the Tachymetric relay is no longer in use, I have taken the stage 2 switch live and the permanent live from the connector, but the rest of the wires I want to strip from the loom - but for the life of me I cannot find where the go!

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

It's a 1988 309Gti I am working on - it's nearly ready for the rolling road setup, I just need to finish this wiring! Thank you!

Here's the diagram in the haynes manual on page 231 and the fusebox in one of the wiring diagrams in the back of the book.

You can clearly see the designated harmess labels inside the FUSE/RELAY BOARD part which is different on each diagram for each part of the wiring explained.
