Does Anyone Know The Difference In Wheels?

Recommended Posts

Guest 205dangti

ive got two sets of 1.9 rims 1 set are all speedline francais with the writing engraved, but most of my other set are belgique raised writing and dont sport the speedline logo. are these fakes?

i had thought they were until i have just spotted a brand new rim on ebay claiming to be a peugeot factory in france, you cant make out all the writing but the letters are definately raised.

what does everyone else have. francais or belgique?

Speedlines is Italian, the SMR's are French, I've not heard of the Belgian ones, but maybe someone else has.

You can tell instantly as smr's weigh alot more than the speedlines.

And don't worry, they're not "fakes" just an alternative OE part

belgian 'lemmers' ones are again different to speedlines/smr's too.

here's a smiliar question: i've got a set of genuine speedlines, and two of them are "SL299 1"s according to the writing, while the other two have written "SL299 4" on them.

so, any differences between those? i couldn't find any except for those writings.
