Gear Quadrant Working Loose.

Just fitted a new quickshift gear quadrant and the bolt keeps working loose.

Is there a simple mod to stop this?

Is it totally std with all the original bits? Only if you fitted brass bushes then these need filing down to fit. The idea is that all the std pug bits are slightly different so they make them oversize (the brass bushes that is) and you have to file them to fit. Which i found out when mine kept coming loose on a rally. Mine is lockwired in place now (as are most things now!)

Didn't think of threadlock.

It's got brass bushes in, I'll check the sizes and see if they need adjusting.

I see what you mean Phil, the bolt is not tightening onto the shoulder.
