Dodgy Interior Light

any solutions to a dodgy interior light? only really works when it want to, tap it and sometimes that helps then eventually it goes off again.

Mine does that too...if you pry it out you can see the metal contacts on it where it swivels, try giving them a clean with some contact cleaner, and check the wiring isnt getting caught on anything causing a bad connection. Else just go down a scrappy and pull one off another one!

I found it was the wire just as it leaves the plug was breaking, it only works when i hit it a few times

Mine didn't work at all,yet the contacts 'didn't look that dirty' and certainly weren't corroded at all.After a good clean with contact cleaner to a polished finish on the contacts and the 'wheel' part,all works as new.
