Title sayait all really, Got a set of alloys off my car while I do the brakes. Thinking of doing a refurb myself and want to do the polished rim and dark metallic grey. How do I do it? Thinking of doing a spray layer then sansing the rim gently back. repeat a few times then laquer. Any tricks or do's and don'ts much appreciated.

I'm about to start mine. Although i've already got goodwoods, the rims are white, so am taking this back to bare metal. I have absolutely no doubt that i'll end up scrapping some of the black paint off by accident, and having to respray the whole wheel!
