Bonnet Pin Adjustment?

Hi guys

 

Need my bonnet to just sit a bit lower where it locks down, to get lines nice......how do you adjust this........i've noticed that the centre pin (in the middle of spring on bonnet) most probably needs screwing in further to pull bonnet closer to slam panel.......but I cant see how to do it????? theres a spring getting in the way :-D

you adjust the 2 rubber blocks, never adjusted any other part.
