Mi16 Clutch Diameter

I'm after a whole new clutch assembly for my Mi. Partco listed 2 parts for this, one with a 200mm inner plate, one 215mm. Is there anything that dictates which one is the correct part? I don't know what year the engine was made, but it's the 1.9 alloy block as opposed to the 2.0 S16, so I guess that puts it pre 1993?

sweet. cheers . no idea where he got the 200mm info from then if all the 16v's are 215.

I'd also suggest asking for a BX 16v clutch rather than an 405 Mi16 one - BX 16v's all use the clutch that you'll need, so much less chance of getting the wrong part supplied.

as Anthony mentioned, makes it a lot easier to ask for a BX16v clutch ECP do Valeo ones for a decent price.

 

 

the one 16v XU that uses a 200mm clutch is the 1.8 XU7J4 (AKA your 306!)
