I'm sure there are a few 8v engines here running CR's about 11-12:1.

What spark plugs are you using for these engines?

I need an advice, as I'm should purchase some and there is a huge price difference between spark plugs/racing spark plugs, etc.

I'm around 11.1 ?! CR , and with the std NGK "7" grade plugs <_< no problem what so ever , but i tend to modify them a little bit ,the top earth electrode, and re-set the gap ...

I've been searching "8" grade NGK plugs , and been told that theres no 8 grade plug in 16mm wrench fitting (hexagon) variant for this engine type :( so they've sold me some 8 grade ones but some "fat" ones for 21mm wrench which i couldn't push down the hole cos they where too wide above the threads (20.8/21.00mm hexagon) :D .. can't remember the code , was long time ago :)

what grade NGK's?

I was advised for some cold Champion Racing plugs, but I can't find enough information on them. It seems that most people prefer denso/ngk

I use NGK V Power R5671A-8 racing plugs in the 16V track car (11.2:1 CR) with no problems.

These. Standard fit in Escort RS Turbos and maybe even cheaper than the standard BCP7ETs for the Mi.
