Gti Wishbones ---> Xs Hub Carriers

Recommended Posts

Are there any differences in the bottom ball joint sizes between the GTi hub carriers and XS carriers?

Was thinking about seam welding my spare subframe, then thought that if I'm doing that I may as well change to a GTi one and wishbones, allowing me to run without an ARB if necessary.

if memory serves me correctly, that's exactly the setup on the 1300 Euro spec Rallye anyway

Rallye uses 1600 hubs I think, but as above this setup will work no problem.

It's the standard setup on STDT's and the like - GTi wishbones, base model hubs :)

Euro rallye uses 1.6 discs though so i'm guessing it has GTI hubs?

Will the ARB of the XS subframe fit straight onto a GTI subframe?

Yes but you'd need to use the base model TCAs, in which case there's no advantage to using the GTi subframe!
