Siezed Sliders On Front Caliper

Recommended Posts

joelpsmith

One of the slider bolts is siezed on my front right caliper. It can be turned with a spanner but it is very stiff and it won't move in or out at all.

Are there any tricks to freeing it up, or am i going to have to replace the whole bracket.

If it needs replacing, where can i get a good bracket with sliders?

Thanks

cheers, i've got it sorted now. Had to take a blow torch to it just to get it freed up enough to get it out. Its all cleaned up and re-greased now and the brakes feel a lot better :D
