Jet Settings To Suit Modded 1360 ?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone offer some jet settings to suit the TU 1360 ?

Its for a guy I know that has built a 1360 alloy block engine using XSI pistons and rods along with the XSI head a 645 catcam (280 deg), 4-2-1 and twin 40 webers on a custom inlet manifold.

The carbs have come from some Italian car or something because the jets ,emm. tubes etc are really wierd (138 mains ,160 airs ,F41 emm tubes ,45 pumps ,50F**? idles ,32mm chokes and no ram pipes). We needs some basic settings with all the jets - airs ,mains ,emm tubes , pumps ,idle's , aux vents and chokes to get it in the "ballpark" then we'll get it to the rollers for jetting .

thanks ,Garry

You could send Spike a PM - he's at the Autosport show today but will probably see it over the weekend

He specialises in 1360's

With 34 venturis, 138 mains, 180 airs, 45f9 idles, f47 emulsion tubes, 35 pump jets and 150 needle valve it should work fine. This is what euro rallye has and it works fine on 1.6 8v TU. If he can't find f47 emulsions, which are preaty specific, f16 emulsions will be fine.
