This is just what i needed after xmas So now i have to fork out for a new one.. Is there any point in getting this welded up or will i just have to buy a newen.. And where would you reccomend i get one from? Cheers.. Edited December 29, 2008 by Oakley

pug_ham 242 3 Cars Posted December 29, 2008 You're doing well to see the manifold on a 205 diesel, they are pretty well hidden at the back of the engine. A hole in a rusty exhaust, who'd have thougth that would happen!! If its rusting through now I'd just get a new one with the two/ three year guarantee, welding it is a waste of time imo. Graham. Fox 3 Posted December 29, 2008 Didnt realise it was a diesel, I dont have one of them!
brian j 31 Posted December 31, 2008 Didnt realise it was a diesel, I dont have one of them! If it is a diesel, the resonator chamber on the manifold might have rusted through. It is very thin steel compared to the manifold. I don't know if its a separate part though.
