Looking at the motorsport catalogue for Bilstein, I can only see one reference for Group A stuff, and thats part number VE3-62380 for left, and VE3-62381 for right, but that probably for a damper unit rather than an insert.

As the coilover units are not made by Bilstein directly, you will probably need to go through skip brown or special tuning as they are the ones who make them under the bilstein brand.

Without sounding daft, what else would you need to buy to make a complete usable suspension unit?

Is this a dearer way than getting say a gaz coilover kit?

you need to be careful as there are different threads. I have one set with Bilstein stamped on the bodies (genuine PTS I believe) and bilstein inserts and another set with nothing on the bodies (possibly compbrake) and bilstein on the insert. While both bilstein inserts look the same the threads are different on the bottom where they screw into the bodies.
