Switch On Dash

Recommended Posts

Chaff

Hi

I have a switch on my dash to the right hand side of the steering wheel below the heater vent. It doesn't seem to do much, On the switch one side clicks in place and the others spring loaded.

I thought at first it was just an after market thing someone had used for an amp cut off or something along those lines. But i saw it on another 205 in the same place the other day so i guess it must be stock.

What does it do/ment to do?

If it was OE it would have some sort of marking to identify its purpose. The only thing I can think of that I believe was in that area on some 205s was a headlight leveling adjuster.

Looking at it again it isn't very central. So i guess that rules out it being stock. But its strange i have seen it on other 205's

I believe that's part of a clifford alarm.

That would be it. IT has a disconnect clifford alarm. You know what it does when the alarms working.
