carefully slide a paint scraper in, and gently twist with a clockwise and anti-clockwise action

ok it was stuck on pretty good anyway but i left 2 bolts on

Ive now got it off Im not having issues removing the baffled sump.

Am i right in thinking that i have to remove the oil pick up?

If so then im sure im going to have access issues with one of the 10mm bolts. Ive taken the 4 off the bottom bolts and one pig of a nut that lives right in the heart of the mother. The last nut that i could see seemed to be ok to get to when starting the removal but im sure when its half way out theres going to be no way of getting to the head of the bugger!!

am i not thinking about this botl right or is it a sod to get out?

You just undo the oil pump bolt's slide it off the chain (Remove thin spacer first) then take the baffle out, easy as that
