welshpug 1,627 Posted November 10, 2008 depends what you mean by Mi16, alloy or iron? your belt is indeed 136 Teeth, the 254 refers to the width of the belt, 25.4mm 2.0 Mi16/S16 is 134 teeth. 1.9 uses 133 teeth. so at a wild guess your belt is for an XU7J4 or a 10J4R or RS, not any Mi16. Doof 11 Posted November 10, 2008 Just to add to this, the reason i'm asking is that i believe the belt i have is an Mi16 belt...and it just doesn't seem to want to hug the pulleys properly. It'll only sit on the pulley properly for say 90 degrees. I'd imagine the belt and cam pulley to be perfectly matched so effectively you could wrap the belt all the way round the pulley...
