allanallen 528 2 Cars Posted October 24, 2008 Hi all, my gti6 engine has je pistons fitted, Ive been told they give a CR of around 11.5:1 and obviously have pockets for valve clearance. what i want to know is, are these essentially the same as je's low comp pistons but with more material left on them to raise compression ie; can I machine these down to give a sensible CR for forced induction cheers al Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
